Pat Talcott moved from Washington DC to beautiful Whispering Pines, NC  in 2010.  She spent 6 years serving Active Duty in the Army (Virginia & Hawaii) and 10 years as a Reservist. She worked for the Department of Defense for 35 years (Hawaii, Germany, and Washington DC) as a Budget Analyst.  Pat obtained a Master's Degree in General Sciences/Business. 

She and her husband Cody have 2 children and 6 grandkids.  A member  of Grace Church, Southern Pines. Pat currently leads the Women's Ministry Team and participates in other areas.  She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Helping Hands Ministry since 2010.  She has participated in mission trips to Thailand, China, West Virginia, Kenya, and Honduras. Pat actively participates in various volunteer activities and loves to do random acts of kindness. 

Why Missions:  "It's all about the LOVE of Jesus!  I love to help people and see them resourced with the tools to help themselves through education, goods and funds. I love shining the light of Jesus, and bringing the good news to those that are lost. I enjoy learning about new cultures, new experiences and adapting. I love to love on people so they may know Christ through work, fellowship or play.
