Honduras Ministry

One of the buildings in the Enlaces compound is the Recreation Center, which serves about 600 kids a day. The children enjoy board games, basketball, two indoor-type soccer courts, volleyball, video games and lots of other interests.  They also encourage families to come on the weekends to put together puzzles as a family project. There is a bi-lingual school through the 12th grade on the compound, and a few apartments for visitors to stay in.

The Enlaces con Cristo Ministry is headed up by Sandi Burgess. Originally from Michigan, Sandi raised her family in Honduras and buried her first husband there. She is very dedicated to the work and people of Honduras. For more information, visit their web site: www.eccbm.com/

Helping Hands Ministry has partnered with the "Enlaces con Cristo Ministry" in Honduras for over twenty years now. In English. "Enlaces" translates to "Bridge". In addition to sending Humanitarian Aid shipments, HHM's Tony Haywood has led over twenty teams to Honduras over the last two decades. The number of participants has ranged from as few as two people for meetings, to 43 team members for a medical brigade.  In addition to medical brigades, Enlaces welcomes mission teams to serve in construction, teaching in the school, work projects, or evangelism.
